Dear residents, business owners, visitors and other members of our community,


My name is John M. Curd, Jr., your Fire Chief, and I welcome you to the Riviera Beach Fire-Rescue Department. The purpose of this website is to provide you with general information about our department; provide you with specific information about current issues affecting you and your family; update you about our latest incidents and events; and give you an opportunity to contact us with any questions or comments you may have.


Our site is not only designed to offer you interesting and educational information, but also to reflect the tremendous pride and spirit within our department. We maintain a strong sense of duty towards excellent performance in the present, and a real enthusiasm for meeting the challenges of the future.


The Riviera Beach Fire-Rescue Department exist to protect the quality of life in our community by providing exceptional fire, rescue and emergency medical services in a compassionate and professional manner. The department delivers fire, rescue, and emergency medical services from four fire stations strategically located throughout the City. Our greatest resources, by far, are our dedicated Firefighter and Paramedics. They are committed to fulfilling the needs of our residents and visitors alike, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our service delivery model focuses on protecting life and property through a variety of prevention, education, preparation, response, and evaluation activities.
