Community Partners Unite to Paint 12 Riviera Beach
Homes in Three Days

Riviera Beach, FL – July 7–9, 2025 — The Riviera Beach Police Department, through its
100 Home Initiative, has joined forces with Paint Your Heart Out Palm Beach County, Inc., the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, and Christ Fellowship Church to paint 12 homes across the city of Riviera Beach over three consecutive days.
The collaborative effort brings together local organizations committed to improving the quality of life for Riviera Beach residents. The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County donated more than 170 gallons of eco-friendly paint and paint stirring sticks to support the project. Paint Your Heart Out Palm Beach County, Inc. contributed garbage bags and paint keys, and played a role in coordinating efforts between participating organizations.
"This initiative is a true reflection of what community-centered policing looks like in action," said Major Meyer, who leads the Riviera Beach Police Department's Community Service Division. "Our division is proud to collaborate with such dedicated partners to make a real, visible difference in the lives of Riviera Beach residents. When we work together, we build stronger neighborhoods — and that is exactly what the 100 Home Initiative is all about."
Paint Your Heart Out Palm Beach County, Inc. is a non-profit organization that uses a network of 20-30 volunteers for each project to paint the exterior of one-story, single-family homes with eco-friendly paint donated by the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County. Recipients must be 60 years or older, own and live in their home, fall within low-income guidelines, and live with a disability or be a Veteran of the United States Armed Forces.
The 100 Home Initiative reflects the Riviera Beach Police Department's ongoing commitment to community-centered policing and neighborhood revitalization. By partnering with local organizations, the initiative aims to strengthen community ties and
improve living conditions for residents across the city.
