COVID-19 Vaccine Update: Order by the Florida State Governor Regarding the Change in the Age Requirement

Earlier today, Florida State Governor, Ron DeSantis, ordered that beginning on
Monday – March 29, 2021, individuals who are 40 years of age or older can receive the COVID-19 vaccine. In addition, beginning Monday – April 5, 2021, those 18 years of age and older can begin to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The City of Riviera Beach is a point-of-distribution site for the COVID-19 vaccine at this time and will comply with these orders as it relates to the vaccinations that are administered in the community. The City will continue to work diligently to provide vaccinations to those that are interested.
