10/24/2025 - Free Chlorine Burn Project Complete!

Dear Valued Utility Customer: The City of Riviera Beach Utility Special District (USD) is consistently undertaking activities that serve to strengthen its water treatment and distribution services. Accordingly, this communication is to inform utility customers that, recommended by the Florida Department of Health, the City is set to end the "Free Chlorine Flush" Project. This Free Chlorine Flush Project began on Monday, October 13, 2025 and has ended Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 5:00PM. Due to the City currently experiencing increased water demand, the use of neighboring municipal interconnects is necessary to maintain adequate pressure and supply. Residents may experience low water pressure during this event and changes in water quality such as taste, odor, or appearance and may choose to boil water; however, it is not required. During normal business hours residents and businesses may call (561) 845-4185 with any questions concerning the free chlorine maintenance. The City of Riviera Beach Utility District appreciates the patience and understanding of its residents as it works to resolve the current issue.
