RIVIERA BEACH, (August 21st, 2023) — The Riviera Beach Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing person. On the evening of August 20, 2023, at approximately 8:45 PM, officers were dispatched to Woodbine in response to a report of a missing individual.


The missing person has been identified as Nasser Yaghnam, a 24-year-old white male,
born on April 20, 1999. Nasser was last seen at his residence earlier in the day around
1:30 PM. According to his mother, Shama Yaghnam, Nasser called her at 1:22 PM to
inform her that he was leaving the house for an adventure. However, he did not disclose his intended destination.

At the time of his disappearance, Nasser was wearing a white shirt, orange shorts, and a black sweater. He stands at approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs around 180 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Nasser Yaghnam was last spotted in the vicinity of Woodbine, heading in the direction of Military Trail. It's important to note that Nasser Yaghnam struggles with mental health issues. He is known to be extremely nervous around police officers and might attempt to flee if approached. Local law enforcement urges anyone who encounters Nasser to exercise caution and immediately contact local authorities.

The Riviera Beach Police Department is working diligently to locate Nasser and ensure
his safety. Community members and residents are urged to be vigilant and report any
information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, that could aid in the search for
Nasser Yaghnam.
