RIVIERA BEACH POLICE VICE UNIT’S SUCCESSFUL OPERATION

RIVIERA BEACH, (August 18, 2023) - On August 18, 2023, the Riviera Beach Police Vice Unit carried out a coordinated operation resulting in the execution of a search warrant at the Super 8 Motel, located at 4112 West Blue Heron Blvd, Room #132, Riviera Beach, Florida. The operation targeted the alleged illicit activities of the motel room occupant, Tiffany Raines, who was suspected of engaging in the sale of crack cocaine from the premises.

Upon their arrival at the scene, diligent agents from the Riviera Beach Police Vice Unit made contact with Tiffany Raines and her 1-year-old child as they were entering Room #132. Raines was immediately detained for further investigation. Subsequent search of the motel room led to the discovery of significant evidence, including approximately 2.7 grams of Crack Cocaine packaged for sale, an approximate weight of 0.96 grams of MDPV, and drug paraphernalia consisting of pipes and scales. Notably, it was observed that Raines had been conducting drug transactions while her child was present in the room.

Tiffany Raines faces a series of charges, including Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell, Possession of MDPV, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Neglect of a Child. Following her detainment, Raines was processed and subsequently remanded to the Palm Beach County jail. Immediate action was taken to ensure the well-being of the child. The child was entrusted to the care of a family member, and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) was notified of the situation.

Tiffany Raines is currently out on bail for a search warrant conducted at her former residence that resulted in her being charged with drug trafficking and firearm offenses.

The Riviera Beach Police Vice Unit remains committed to upholding the safety and security of the community, pursuing justice for all residents, and collaborating with relevant agencies to ensure the protection of children in potentially harmful situations.
