The City of Riviera Beach Library Advisory Board –Alternate Member Seat Vacancy Announcement

The City of Riviera Beach, the Best Waterfront City in Which to Live, Work and Play… is pleased to announce current acceptance of applications for an Alternate Member seat on the Library Advisory Board. Those serving as an Alternate Member will have voting rights in the event a regular member is unable to vote as outlined within the Riviera Beach Code of Ordinances (Code 1957, § 2-12.3(a); Sec 2-77). Functionality of the board is to provide recommendations in support of the Riviera Beach Public Library.

In accordance with the Library Advisory Board bylaws the following is required:
1. Must be a legal resident of the City of Riviera Beach.
2. Ability to serve a one-year term.
3. Ability to attend meetings
Preferred requirements:
4. Ability to read, write and understand English fluently.
5. Registered voter
6. Interest in Library Services
