6/7/2023 - Three Females Minor Recovered From Possible Sex Trafficking Incident

THREE FEMALE MINORS RECOVERED FROM POSSIBLE SEX TRAFFICKING INCIDENT 


RIVIERA BEACH, FL. (June 7, 2023) – On Saturday, June 4, 2023, the Alpha 1 shift members responded to 190 East 13th Street regarding a “Missing Person.” The mother of one of the minor females, advised that her daughter, and two other minor females were reported missing out of Charlotte County, Florida, on May 29, 2023. The mother received information that the females were possibly victims of sex trafficking. 


Through investigative means, members of the Strategic Investigations Division were able to identify multiple adult males as persons of interest. Over the following thirty-six (36) hours, by utilizing interagency relationships in conjunction with other investigative means, members of the Strategic Investigations Division were able to locate and recover all three alleged trafficking victims successfully. 


One of the females was located in Jupiter, Florida, and the other two were located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. 


Regarding the sex trafficking allegations, a Multi-jurisdictionalInvestigative Plan is currently being organized by Detectives from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
