THE CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH NEEDS COMMUNITY INPUT FOR THE CITY’S FUTURE

(RIVIERA BEACH, FL. (April 10, 2023) – Are you ready to make your voice heard? The City of Riviera Beach is asking for the community’s thoughts on the City’s long-term plan. Now is the time for everyone to get involved with Riviera Beach 2040, and to share their vision for the City.

Riviera Beach 2040 is an 18-month initiative to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan (Comp Plan) that defines our vision for the next 20 years and outlines the steps needed to get there. Riviera Beach is home to wonderful families, students, small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and magnificent natural resources. It is enjoyed by visitors and tourists from around the world. In order for Riviera Beach to grow and to continue being “The Best Waterfront City in Which to Live, Work and Play,” we are updating our Comp Plan to set goals, objectives and policies that influence future planning decisions.
“If you live or work in Riviera Beach then you should be part of the conversation on future growth and development. We want to be sure that you have every opportunity to make your voice heard. Please let us know what you want to see Riviera Beach look like,” said Clarence Sirmons, Director of Development Services.
However, the most important part of this process is YOUR input!
Our Community Kick-off meeting will occur on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the Riviera Beach Marina Event Center from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The City of Riviera Beach invites the public to visit the Riviera 2040 website where they can:

• Take part in surveys, polls, and games
• Register to receive updates on the process
• Stay informed about upcoming public engagement activities
• Provide input and feedback throughout the process

With the public’s contribution, Riviera 2040 will guide the way forward for economic development, transportation, parks, natural resources, and land usage.
