2/1/2023 - Lake Worth Inlet Closure FEB 2

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
LAKE WORTH INLET TO EXPERIENCE CLOSURES ON FEB. 2
RIVIERA BEACH, FL. (FEB. 1, 2023) – The U.S. Coast Guard has issued a Marine Safety Information Bulletin alerting the public of a waterway closure and deviation of the Lake Worth Inlet in West Palm Beach on Thursday, Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry of vessels or persons through the inlet will be restricted during specified times.
Due to the commencement of dredge operations, the Lake Worth Inlet will experience a partial closure of the inlet beginning at 9 a.m. on Feb. 2. Law Enforcement vessels will be on scene to direct traffic until 11:30 a.m. A full closure of the navigational inlet will begin at 11:30 a.m. All mariners can expect the full closure until 3 p.m. local time.
