POST-HURRICANE NICOLE UPDATE Thursday, November 10, 2022

Thank you for your attention to this communication concerning Hurricane Nicole:   

 

  1. City Services 
    1. City Hall reopened for normal business operations today at 12:00 noon.
    2. City Hall will be closed to the public on this Friday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day, with the exception of Police, Fire and Utility services. 
    3. The City Municipal Beach will remain closed today and will be fully open and staffed on this Friday, November 11th beginning at 9:00 am.
    4. Fire Station 86 (Singer Island) reopened at approximately 8:00 am today.
    5. Strike Teams are working in targeted areas performing debris clean-up activities, addressing flood control concerns and performing post-storm assessments beginning today. 
  2. Garbage, Trash and Recycling Collection Services 
    1. Regular collection schedules for garbage, recycling and trash will resume normal operations beginning today to include this Friday, November 11th, which is Veterans Day Holiday.    
    2. Service missed this past Wednesday will be picked up by Saturday, November 12th.
    3. Any service missed today will also be picked up by Saturday, November 12th.  
  3. Palm Beach County 
    1. Palm Beach County Governmental Offices will remain closed today and will reopen Monday, November 14th
    2. Palm Tran resumed normal operations today at 12:00 noon.
    3. Brightline resumed normal operations today.
    4. Tri-Rail will resume normal operations on this Friday, November 11th
  4. Port of Palm Beach

    The Port of Palm Beach is open for land only activities, but vessel traffic has not been restored. 

  5. Palm Beach International Airport
    PBIA re-opened at 8:00 am today.   Please check airlines for specific flight details.
