10/28/2021 - Road closure of Military Trail November 5,6,7

We are Southern Commercial Development, LLC. We work with CSX Transportation providing traffic control and detour signage for railroad crossing closures which require necessary maintenance and emergency repairs.  CSX Transportation has scheduled the crossing(s) listed below to be closed for an emergency repair on the following schedule:

 

Palm Beach County, FL

City of West Palm Beach and Riviera Beach

 

N. Military Trail (Between MLK Blvd and Dyer Blvd) *See map for exact location*

Closing on/around Friday, 11/5/21 starting at 3am

Set to reopen on/around Sunday, 11/7/21 by midnight

*This is a full and total closure of all north and southbound lanes. This means no traffic will be allowed across the track until the work is complete*

 

This will necessitate rerouting traffic.  Signage will be in place marking detour routes. Please note the expected closure date(s).  Please note that any/all dates are subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorist should anticipate extended travel times and delays.  Please avoid this closure area if at all possible.

 

For Northbound Traffic: Please use 45th Street to Haverhill Road. Then, Haverhill Road to MLK Blvd. Finally, MLK Blvd back to northbound N. Military Trail.

 

For Southbound Traffic: Please use MLK Blvd to Haverhill Road. Then, Haverhill Road to 45thStreet.  Finally, 45th Street back to southbound N. Military Trail.

 

For Eastbound Traffic on MLK Blvd wishing to turn southbound onto N. Military Trail:  Please use MLK Blvd to Haverhill Road. Then, Haverhill Road to 45th Street.  Finally, 45th Street back to southbound N. Military Trail.

 

For Westbound Traffic on MLK Blvd wishing to turn southbound onto N. Military Trail: Please use MLK Blvd to Haverhill Road. Then, Haverhill Road to 45th Street.  Finally, 45th Street back to southbound N. Military Trail.
