Safe Drinking Water Act: Consumer Confidence Reports (CCR)

The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is an annual water quality report that a community water system is required by law to provide to its customers each year by July 1st. Your CCR can help you make informed choices about the water you drink. This report provides our valued customers with information about their local drinking water quality. The City of Riviera Beach Utility Special District monitors your drinking water quality and tests the water for many contaminants throughout the year. The CCR provides information about contaminants that were detected in your drinking water, and also provides detailed information about compliance issues and the corrective actions that were taken to resolve them.

Your CCR provides need to know information such as:

·    Where your water comes from-such as an aquifer, lake, river or other source.

·     A list of regulated contaminants that the City of Riviera Beach detected and the level.

·    Potential health effects from consuming contaminated water and additional safeguards against water-related illnesses

·    Contaminant levels in your CCR compared to national standards and any violations of health based standards.

Find Your Local CCR
Each year by July 1st you should receive a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), also known as an annual drinking water quality report from your water supplier. Your CCR tells you where your water comes from and what's in it.
