The mission of the Riviera Beach Public Library is to provide free access to information, ideas, resources, programs and technology to support users educational, cultural and recreational needs in a variety of formats.
We offer library services that are comprehensive, timely and helpful. We also provide an attractive, accessible, safe and convenient facility and are part of the Library Cooperative of the Palm Beaches along with other libraries and agencies to increase the library's ability to meet its community's needs.
Our building shares a prominent position on Blue Heron Boulevard within the Municipal Complex, representing the importance of its function in preparing present and future citizens to provide leadership and support for the City.
Large expanses of north-facing glass sheltered by a second floor overhang allow sunlight to enter reading and work areas and citizens to view its interior activities from the plaza.
The reference, non-fiction collection, periodicals, newspapers, additional restrooms and administration offices are housed on the upper level along with our African-American Room, which was dedicated in 1989.
Also on the upper level is a 1200 square feet conference room which provides space for a variety of library programs, displays, meetings and a computer center.
